Long Live the CheeseWheel!

What happened to the CheeseWheels?

It was a good run, but we decided to put CheeseWheels on hiatus. We’re not saying they’ll never return — but consider them on an indefinite leave.

Some objections and our response:

But your CheeseWheels are so popular!

So are our cakes.

But your CheeseWheels were featured in [insert publication here]!

Yes, they’ve gotten us some nice coverage in magazines, food blogs, and on social media. So have our other nums.

But they’re so damned tasty!

Thanks! We agree. So is the rest of our menu. (Not the actual menu, obviously. It probably just tastes like cleaning products.)

But they’re my favourite and now I’m sad!

While we concede that CheeseWheels are genuinely superdelicious and have been revelatory gustatory delights for many of our patrons, a change to our menu shouldn’t too seriously disrupt your life. If you’re hangry about it, treat yourself to a DeeperMore Delicious cake to take the edge off.

Seriously, though: eating isn’t a great strategy for coping with your emotions. If you or someone you care about is suffering from an eating disorder, please reach out to the Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta (EDSNA) or the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) for support.
